Job Title: Anaesthetics ITU Specialist Registrar

This is a Locum Specialist Registrar position in Anaesthetics, working in various hospital sites within the Trust. The role involves providing high-quality clinical care in Anaesthetics under the supervision of a Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support junior doctors and other healthcare professionals in Anaesthetics.
  • Participate in teaching and training programs for medical students and junior staff in Anaesthetics.
  • Engage in clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives in Anaesthetics.
  • Adhere to NHS Trust guidelines and policies regarding patient safety, infection control, and data protection in Anaesthetics.
  • Participate in mandatory training and regular appraisals in Anaesthetics.
Requirements:
  • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Completed core training (CST/CT2) or equivalent in Anaesthetics.
  • At least 3 years of postgraduate clinical experience in Anaesthetics.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience in conducting clinical audits or research in Anaesthetics.
