About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Animal Technician to join our team at UCL Eastman Dental Institute. As an Animal Technician, you will work collaboratively with researchers to deliver an outstanding service and ensure that a high standard of animal welfare is maintained throughout.
The successful applicant will be based in one or more of the Biological Services units at UCL and will report directly to a section or unit manager.
Applicants must show an interest in animal care and have previous experience in animal husbandry within a research environment. The successful applicant will be expected to be able to work unsupervised after induction training.
The successful applicant may be required to work at different locations within Biological Services.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
-Experience in animal care and welfare in a research environment
-Experience of transgenic breeding
-Minimum of 5 GCSEs grade C and above
-Experience in animal husbandry
