Join our team at Willing Care as a Nursery Third In Charge, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of care and education for children in our nursery. As a key member of our leadership team, you will collaborate with the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the delivery of exceptional early years education and care while upholding a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children.
Responsibilities:- Assist the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager in the day-to-day operation of the nursery, including staff scheduling, resource management, and curriculum planning.
- Support the professional development of nursery practitioners through mentorship, training, and performance evaluations, thereby contributing to the overall team performance.
- Implement and maintain nursery policies and procedures to ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.
- Act as a positive role model for staff, children, and families by promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion through daily interactions and program development.
- Contribute towards the planning and delivery of high-quality early years education and care, involving curriculum development, activity planning, and individualized learning support.
- Minimum Level 3 in Early Years.
- Solid experience as a Nursery Practitioner with a deep understanding of the EYFS framework and previous experience in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for working with children and promoting their holistic development, with a strong understanding of child safeguarding and welfare.
