About the Role

The Openwork Partnership is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as the Head of Investment Change and Governance. This is a unique opportunity to lead and oversee the delivery of investment change activity across various sectors, including custody, fund accounting and middle office, fund/platform services, discretionary model portfolio service, and product governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver operational change across the Omnis Investments function, ensuring seamless integration and effective governance.
  • Manage and ensure strong robust governance and reporting for Omnis Investments, including the coordination and effective running of all quarterly committee/forums.
  • Liaise with internal Audit, Risk & Compliance group functions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop constructive, collaborative relationships with business units and key senior stakeholders to drive change and improvement.
  • Oversight and utilisation of operations wide resources and appropriate skills to deliver the change delivery plan.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure accurate data for monitoring performance against budgets/forecasts and the provision of MI.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in investment operations and change management service, with a strong understanding of each stage of the investment operations process.
  • ACD Investment Operations expertise with the ability to manage multiple complex projects, such as Fund/DFM Launches, Schemes of Arrangement, Investment Sleeves, Investment Manager transitions, etc.
  • Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to oversee, manage and deliver operational change.
  • Able to handle and prioritise multiple activities, taking initiatives from start to finish.
  • Highly developed and confident presentation skills, both in written and verbal form, experienced in writing reports.
  • Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships - honest, open and transparent.
