Job Description

We are seeking an experienced candidate for the role of Waste Water Project Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project resources and implementing strategic approaches and plans for clients across the Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage project resources and implement strategic approaches and plans for clients across the Midlands region
  2. Monitor and report the progress of projects
  3. Work closely with clients to create and implement instrumentation maintenance strategies
  4. Communicate with company and client management to ensure performance, budgets, and KPIs are visible
  5. Track and monitor budgets at a regional level and ensure communication with clients
  6. Follow up on business development opportunities and ensure ownership of customer assets
  7. Conduct site visits to review options and viability
  8. Ensure contract governance and adherence to contract specifications
  9. Verify data submitted by analysts and senior project engineers
  10. Order additional manufacturer parts and spares as required for distribution to regional teams
  11. Identify potential works and prepare field packs
Requirements
  1. At least 5 years of experience in the waste water industry, including management of field teams and project rollout
  2. Experience in waste water network surveys and ability to build new business
  3. Proven history of stakeholder, personnel, and financial management
  4. Experience in applying risk management principles, particularly in relation to clients, workload, scheduling, and reporting
  5. Ideal degree or HND in a relevant discipline
  6. Full UK driving license
  7. Willingness to travel regularly, spending on average 2 nights a week away from home

  1. Starting salary of between £55,000 and £60,000 per annum
