We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in East and North Midlands. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing Mechanical aspects on site, involving in ECI works, ordering materials, commissioning process involvement, producing and reviewing H&S documentation, and liaising with design teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the Mechanical Project Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer role with some site exposure. You will also be able to develop best solutions, prepare sub-contractor orders, and assist with submission and evaluation of claims for work variations.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to work on Water Treatment Works upgrade schemes with a leading Civil Engineering & Construction main contractor. The projects involve Mechanical and Electrical components on large scale alongside Civils work, requiring a dedicated Mechanical team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Mechanical Project Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer with some site exposure. You will be able to develop best solutions, prepare sub-contractor orders, and assist with submission and evaluation of claims for work variations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience working in relevant field as Mechanical Project Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer with some site exposure

Ability to develop best solutions

Strong organizational skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
