Job Title: Day Services Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Day Services Assistant to join our team at East Ayrshire Council. As a key member of our community care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities or multiple needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver consistent and high-quality additional care support to adults with learning disabilities or multiple needs.
- Provide opportunities for meaningful activities within the community, including social and recreational, leisure and development, and supported employment.
- Assist with the promotion, delivery, and integration of key objectives in relation to those identified within the Health and Social Care Partnerships Plan and the Community Plan.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act.
- A Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership or the ability to become a member.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
