About the Role

Sapiens is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our growing UK team. This presents an exciting opportunity for someone with a minimum of 5 years' experience in business analysis gained from financial services (ideally insurance or banking/investments), who relishes the opportunity to incorporate travel into their role, and who loves working with international teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate fully and play a key role in the delivery of software solutions to our clients.
  • Be responsible for the documentation and production of project deliverables.
  • Manage and engage with lead BA/project director/delivery manager on all project deliverables, actions, assumptions, risks, issues, decisions, and constraints.
  • Review test scripts and support testing throughout the test phase.
  • Help define acceptance criteria and high-level estimates.
  • Provide clients with functional analysis and design advice, guidance, and consultancy in Sapiens's solution throughout the project.
  • Manage and participate in peer review activities, interacting with other business analysts, to ensure quality and completeness of requirement and design work.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a business analyst.
  • Extensive financial services (life, pensions, or banking/investments) project experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Experienced in full project lifecycle having been involved in numerous system implementation or enhancement projects.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites. International travel may be required.
  • Good understanding of SQL/relational databases.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of working in the early stages of a project, especially supporting pre-sales and scope definition activities.
  • Previous experience working with a policy administration system.
