About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the systems that support core banking operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement system solutions that enhance operational efficiency and meet business needs.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement or optimisation.
- Lead the integration of new technologies and systems into the bank's existing architecture.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on system-related issues to other team members.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including requirements, design, and user manuals.
- Perform system testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet established standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues in a timely manner.
- Work with outsourced partners and have prior experience of this would be ideal.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of banking systems, operations, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in systems analysis and design, with experience in both structured and object-oriented analysis methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Strong M365 & Azure Knowledge.
