Job Title: Business Analyst

Join our client, a leading smart energy solutions provider, as a Business Analyst and play a key role in helping to decarbonise the UK economy by 2050.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team, working closely with our Programme Lead and Scrum Teams to provide analysis for technology and business-led projects. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for translating business needs into clearly specified functional and non-functional requirements, documenting as-is and to-be business processes, and supporting the launch of new products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain business requirements documentation, ensuring that system changes deliver expected results.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Teams and technical architects to design solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues, working with business units and Scrum Teams to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
  • Support testing to ensure system changes deliver expected results.
  • Communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences, facilitating input from stakeholders and enabling effective prioritisation of requirements.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in a Business Analyst role, with experience of working in an Agile Scrum driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience of specifying functional and non-functional requirements, with a strong understanding of business analysis methodologies.
  • Recognised Business Analysis qualification (or working towards).
