Business Analyst Opportunity at The Retail Appointment Live

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our IT department at The Retail Appointment Live. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, developing, and launching efficient business, financial, and operations systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Requirements Definition: Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
  2. System Documentation: Document existing and new systems showing details of processes, decision points, information and data flow, and any connections to other systems.
  3. Business Solution Analysis: Provide coherent information to decision makers regarding the viability and practicability of potential business systems.
  4. Solution Investigation: Investigate potential solutions for identified business issues, taking costs and business benefits into account.
  5. Cost Negotiation: Negotiate and control costs for business solutions with external suppliers, providing the best possible cost benefits to the business.
  6. System Implementation: Manage and control the implementation of business systems, utilizing internal and external resources.
  7. Business Support: Provide support to the business in relevant areas, including training users, allocating resources, resolving problems, and installing and maintaining equipment.
  8. Design Sessions: Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.
  9. Cost-Benefit Analysis: Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
  10. Scope Definition: Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.
  11. System Testing: Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.
  12. User Training: Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
  13. Research and Development: Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
