IQVIA Laboratories is a global leader in drug discovery and development laboratory services, offering a comprehensive suite of central laboratory and specialty biomarker services.

The position offers a substantial opportunity to work at the cutting edge of treatment development in a wide variety of malignancies, joining an existing team of 5 consultants, using histopathology, immunohistochemistry, and fluorescent in-situ hybridization.

**Salary**: We offer a competitive salary of £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • Support the day-to-day operations to laboratories to deliver on sponsor requests and studies, including oversight of technical processes and procedures insofar as they impact pathology interpretations.
  • Work closely with our existing team of consultants to develop and implement new diagnostic techniques and protocols.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our pathology department, ensuring it remains at the forefront of innovation and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree (Doctor of Medicine, or foreign equivalent)
  • Full Registration with a Licence to Practise from the General Medical Council
  • Fellowship of The Royal College of Pathologists (or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years' experience of independent reporting practice.
