About the Role

As a member of the User Engagement team at the University of Oxford, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the Development and Alumni Relations System (DARS) for development and alumni engagement. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and updating training courses, creating learning materials, and facilitating workshops to ensure effective user engagement with the DARS system.
  • Analysing and enhancing business processes to optimize the functionality and efficiency of the DARS system.
  • Providing comprehensive support through one-on-one coaching, project assistance, and managing key business partnerships to maintain strong collaborative relationships.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and presentations.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in analysing business processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Experience in managing and nurturing business partnerships or building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Technical proficiency in utilising Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create impactful presentations and documents, as well as knowledge of the DARS system or comparable fundraising or relationship management software.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage projects, provide project support, and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
  • Training and development skills, with proficiency in designing and implementing training programs, crafting educational resources, and utilising learning management systems to enhance employee development.
