Job Title: Shop Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Manager to join our team in Sevenoaks, Kent. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the shop, including sales, customer service, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sales and customer service teams to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop, including stock management, cash handling, and EPOS system maintenance
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of volunteers to maximize sales and revenue for participating charities
  • Work closely with the marketing team to raise the profile of the shop and organization in the local community
  • Manage the shop's budget and ensure financial targets are met
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve sales and customer service
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a retail or sales environment, with a strong track record of sales achievement and customer service
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Basic knowledge of EPOS systems and cash handling procedures
