Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the conception and implementation of security measures according to the IT-Grundschutz methodology of the BSI
  • Process inquiries from the information security officer
  • Design and implement security measures/processes for maintaining or optimizing the IT security level
  • Participate in system administration, in particular the operational implementation of security measures at system level
Requirements
  • Completed university degree (Bachelor or FH diploma) in computer science, ideally with a focus on IT security; alternatively, completed relevant vocational training with proof of several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned areas of work
  • In-depth knowledge of security mechanisms at network, operating system and application level according to the state of the art
  • In-depth knowledge of the administration of current server operating systems (Linux main distributions, Microsoft Windows), in particular for hardening systems and applications
  • Knowledge of scripting, e.g. with PowerShell, batch, Python, bash
  • Good knowledge of German (at least C1 level written and spoken) and good knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of the relevant standards of the Federal Office for Information Security, in particular the IT baseline protection compendium, as well as knowledge of current directory and authentication services (LDAP, SAML2, multi-factor authentication) is an advantage
Terms of Contract

The full-time employment relationship is based on the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L) and is permanent. In principle, the position can also be filled on a part-time basis.
