IT Security Manager

The Deutsche Bundesbank is a unique financial institution, playing a crucial role in the European System of Central Banks and contributing to financial stability, banking supervision, monetary policy, and payment transactions in Germany.
We are a strong team of reliable and responsible individuals, working together to create the technical IT conditions for a stable euro and other central bank tasks. Our team provides IT solutions to support the business processes in the Bundesbank's specialist departments, focusing on application security.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out measures within the IT security processes, including IT RMP, IT vulnerability and patch management process, and IT security incident processing.
- Develop and maintain the system and solution architecture for the overall system landscape and individual applications and software components.
- Oversee the entire life cycle management process, accompanying architecture projects from conceptualization to go-live and maintenance.
- Work on IT projects and occasionally take on project management responsibilities.
- Master's degree or equivalent in (business) computer science or a degree program with a focus on information technology.
- Very good knowledge and several years of experience in software architecture, architecture management, and the underlying principles.
- Very good knowledge and experience in (agile) software development projects, methods, and processes, preferably in the area of web applications based on Java.
- Very good knowledge of operational IT security.
- Good knowledge of ITIL.
- Good knowledge of technologies and tools for cloud and Java application development.
- Very good German and good written and spoken English skills.
- Remuneration in line with the TVöD on the basis of pay grade E 13, plus bank bonus.
