Job Overview

Nationwide Foundation is a charitable organization committed to tackling social issues through policy and public affairs work.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our external affairs team as a Policy and Public Affairs Advisor. This role will support the delivery of our policy and public affairs engagement with stakeholders, including politicians, civil servants, and industry experts.

The ideal candidate will have experience in policy or public affairs roles, strong research and analysis skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholder groups.

As a Policy and Public Affairs Advisor, you will work closely with the external affairs manager and programmes team to monitor the external environment, identify opportunities for influence, and provide administrative support for influencing activities.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the Foundation's stakeholder database, supporting the communications manager with social media posts and blogs, and contributing to other activities within the external affairs team.

The salary for this role is estimated at £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. The location for this position is Swindon or London, with opportunities for home working.
