About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Technical Specialist to join our team at Saur EUROPE. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and successful operation of our wastewater treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical advice to our operations team to optimize and improve our wastewater systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues and support the execution of corrective actions.
  • Performance Review: Review operational performance of our water systems and identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Work with our operations and maintenance teams to develop projects that address plant vulnerabilities and improve process, commercial, or operational efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Provide technical training to our operations teams and develop clear KPIs to monitor plant performance.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with our Water Sciences Laboratory to interpret results, design sampling and analysis schedules, and liaise with our Customer Environmental Team to monitor changing legislation trends.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum degree level educated in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical/Process Engineering, or Water Treatment experience in a technical role.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years technical/industry experience, preferably in the water treatment industry.
  • Skills: Proactive focus on health and safety, ability to lead by example, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of biological, physical, and chemical water treatment technologies.
