Operations Manager - Fire Protection

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Fire Protection team in London and the South East areas. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of passive fire protection techniques, regulations, and industry best practices.

About the Role
  • Lead a diverse team through exceptional communication, motivation, and delegation to achieve individual and business targets.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from initiation to completion.
  • Build and lead a team of skilled Project Managers, Site Managers, Supervisors, and Technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate to prepare accurate project cost estimates, proposals, and budgets.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
About the Candidate
  • Show knowledge of passive fire protection systems, safety codes, and standards.
  • Show an enjoyment and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Give examples of their leadership approach, ability to motivate and manage others.
  • Show the ability to think critically, analyze situations, and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of financial management, cost control, contract administration in order to ensure profitability and lower financial risks to the company.
  • An understanding of passive fire protection systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
