Primary Care Mental Health Practitioner

Nhsscotland is expanding its mental health services in Argyll and Bute, and we are looking for a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team.
The successful candidate will work closely with General Practice in Argyll and Bute HSCP to increase access to evidenced-based psychological therapies, supporting individuals with common mental health conditions.
As a member of the Primary Care Mental Health Team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering individualized treatment plans, utilizing low-intensity psychological therapies such as Behavioural activation.
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of mental health principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a mental health setting is desirable, along with a positive attitude to people with mental health problems.
We offer a competitive salary of £34,500-£48,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including training and support opportunities.
Please note that this role requires self-motivation, confidence, and the ability to work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team.
