About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at AWE Plc. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in experimental trials, improvement activities, and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Engage with stakeholders and other functions to enhance inspection techniques and improve quality processes.
  • Develop and validate quality processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the development of inspection instructions, reports, and other documentation.
Requirements
  • Recognized Engineering Apprenticeship or relevant experience and/or ONC or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and standards.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to develop solutions to issues in a unique manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office software.
