Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flying Start Parenting Worker to join our dynamic team in Neath Port Talbot. As a key member of our multi-agency team, you will play a vital role in supporting the continued development and delivery of parenting support within the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out a range of duties to support the continued development and delivery of parenting support within the project.
- Work under the supervision of the Flying Start Parenting Lead to promote positive parenting to families.
- Hold a caseload of parents with varying needs, some very complex, and key tasks will involve lone working.
- Have a good sound knowledge of child development and training or willingness to undertake training in supporting parents and young children.
- Have a calm and understanding manner, with a person-centered approach.
- Understanding and/or experience of parenting in the current climate.
Requirements:
- A relevant Level 3 Qualification or above.
- Training or willingness to undertake training in supporting parents and young children.
