SEND Learning Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a thriving SEND school in Grantham. As a key member of the school's support staff, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to provide individualized support to students with SEN.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to students with SEN, developing and implementing personalized learning plans, and contributing to a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
We are looking for someone who is not only passionate about working with children with SEN but also possesses the necessary qualifications and experience to excel in this role. If you are a dedicated and compassionate individual who is eager to make a positive impact, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with SEN in a one-to-one setting, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social skills and emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Education or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant in a SEN setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Patient and compassionate approach to supporting students with SEN
- Driving license (preferable)
- A competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
