Job Title: Cleaning Operative
Location: Bournemouth
Working Hours: 18 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 2 x 9 hour shifts, with occasional cover shifts required
Pay Rate: £ per hour
Job Overview and Purpose
ABM is seeking a hardworking and proactive cleaning operative to join our team in Bournemouth. As a cleaning operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities, including front of house areas and back of house.
Key Responsibilities
- Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting all surfaces
- Scrubbing kitchen and toilets
- Hoovering and mopping floors and using a floor scrubber dryer
- Disinfecting all high-touch points and ensuring outside areas are free from litter
- Detail work on skirtings, sills, fixtures, and other areas
- Following group and company policies and procedures
- Managing back of house and front of house areas
- Reporting any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided
- Using all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received
- Reporting any issues or training needs to your line manager and/or via your divisional incident reporting system
Required Skills and Experience
- Must be hardworking and have good attendance, working to routine schedules and proactively finding tasks to complete
- Cleaning experience
- Good attendance
- Timekeeping
- Good communication skills, including the use of radios
- Availability for occasional cover shifts
