About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
- Empty bins and recyclables, and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning operation.
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, with good written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to work on your own initiative, organizing your own time, and be reliable and self-motivated. Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive hourly rate, 22.5 days annual leave (rising to 25 after 5 years' service), plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, employee referral scheme, and a Defined Contribution pension scheme. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
