Quality Manager Job Description

In Telford, a dynamic UK town known for its manufacturing sector, this full-time Quality Manager opportunity has arisen.

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of up to £55,000 per year, depending on experience, and contribute significantly to a rapidly expanding SME business.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Developing Quality Plans: Create and implement quality plans to meet customer requirements and specifications.
  2. Maintaining Quality Standards: Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, IATF, and AS standards, maintaining a high standard of quality.
  3. Monitoring Performance Data: Analyze and present quality performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  4. Leading Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits and develop audit plans to ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards.
  5. Resolving Non-Conformances: Investigate and resolve non-conformances both internally and externally, using quality investigation techniques to prevent future issues.
  6. Improving Processes: Collaborate on improving processes to enhance overall quality, based on company performance data.
  7. Ensuring Documentation Compliance: Prepare quality plans, inspection test plans, and other documents to guarantee compliance with customer specifications.
Key Requirements:
  1. Quality Experience: Proven experience working with ISO 9001 and other complex quality standards.
  2. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and ability to manage quality systems and standards effectively.
  3. Quality Management Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of quality management tools, including root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
  4. Previous Success: Previous success in Quality Engineer/Quality Manager/QHSE Manager roles in a regulated environment.
