About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Children and Young People Disabilities Team at Wiltshire Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and young people with disabilities and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective plans to address the needs of children and young people with disabilities and their families.
  • Conduct assessments and provide support to children and young people with disabilities and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people with disabilities.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues and other professionals to enhance their knowledge and skills in working with children and young people with disabilities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to children and young people with disabilities.
Requirements
  • Significant experience of working with children and young people with disabilities and their families.
  • Excellent assessment and planning skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
