Job Opportunity

The Manchester College is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our ESOL Department as an Achievement Tutor on a permanent, full-time basis.

As directed by the Head of Department, you will be responsible for managing allocated students and delivering a highly effective tutorial and pastoral programme to ensure the overall academic, pastoral, social, and behavioural progress of students is tracked and supported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage allocated students and deliver a highly effective tutorial and pastoral programme.
  • Track and support the overall academic, pastoral, social, and behavioural progress of students.
  • Work closely with the Head of Department to ensure the success of the programme.

Requirements

  • Certificate of education or PGCE.
  • Current and valid industry specialism.
  • Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).
  • Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification.
  • English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above.
