Business Development Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious sales professional to join our team at VRS-UK. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth across the Midlands, visiting manufacturing sites, laboratories, and academic institutions across the region.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining your territory plan, identifying key customers and accounts to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Taking primary responsibility for direct sales activities within the defined territory, selling to both existing and new end-user customers.
  • Carrying out product demonstrations and attending events such as workshops, roadshows, and conferences.
  • Managing opportunities within the CRM database to allow timely and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Maintaining strong and positive customer relationships to ensure long-term success.

Applications are invited from accomplished sales professionals from the scientific industry, ideally with a minimum of 12 months direct product sales experience.

In return, you will receive a highly competitive basic salary plus uncapped commission structure and company vehicle.

This role is home-based with extensive travel across the region.
