About the Role
This Female Support Worker position is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people, working as part of a dedicated and supportive team at a Children's home in West Malling.
Main Responsibilities:- Support Daily Life: Assist residents in engaging with their community, participating in social activities, and fostering strong relationships with family and friends.
- Manage Resident Finances: Support residents in managing their financial affairs, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
- Offer Personal Care: Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.
- Maintain Environment: Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing domestic duties and accompanying residents on shopping trips.
Requirements:
- Collaboration: Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication skills, working closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional support.
- Technical Skills: Possess basic computer skills, including word processing, email, and internet navigation.
- Adaptability: Show a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and digital systems used in social care settings.
Salary Details: The estimated annual salary for this position is £23,264.
