Our client, a leader in Industrial Automation and Process Control technology, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team as a Technical Service Engineer.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to customers on the client's products and services. This will involve providing both 1st and 2nd level technical support for the client's engineering systems and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to customers via phone and face-to-face
- Liaising with the R&D division to investigate complex technical problems
- Assisting with the SAT or FAT systems and commissioning
- Delivering training courses to end users/customers
- Working with DCS and industrial process control systems
- PLC programming and hardware experience
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
- Wide knowledge of PC and Server Hardware/Operating systems
- Experience in programming languages such as SQL, C, C++, or Visual Basics
- Confident and comfortable with speaking to customers daily
