We are looking for a highly skilled Power Engineering Cable Jointing Technician to join our Lighting & Grid team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing street lighting systems across the UK.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in power engineering and develop your skills as a cable jointer. You will work as part of a dynamic team, contributing to the delivery of our UK Energy Infrastructure Solutions business. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent communication skills, and a passion for safety and PPE requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of street lighting systems
  • Cable jointing and electrical connections to the underground power distribution network
  • Working safely and adhering to PPE requirements

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a market-leading benefits package, including 26 days holiday + bank holidays, a generous pension scheme, life cover, bonus, and flexible benefits with tax and/or NI savings.
