Job Title: Maintenance Assistant - Painter & Decorator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant - Painter & Decorator to join our team at Imperial London Hotels. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supporting all types of painting and decorating jobs, both inside and outside the hotels and other buildings to our company standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform painting and decorating tasks, including minor repairs to walls and joinery, preparing surfaces ready for decoration, and regular floor walks to inspect wall coverings and other public areas.
  • Work with contractors as directed by the Maintenance Manager to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and scheduled maintenance activity with the front of house team to ensure requests are managed promptly and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in painting and decorating or general maintenance is desirable, but not essential as we offer practical training and development opportunities.
  • A positive can-do attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A high standard of personal presentation and grooming.
