About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Whittington Hospital NHS Trust as a Maintenance Support Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support to the estates team within their areas of responsibility: buildings and grounds.
Main Duties
To provide maintenance support to the estates team, including carrying out unsupervised planned preventative maintenance routines and reactive maintenance works as instructed by management.
To learn minor works in other trades as required to assist maintenance staff.
To carry out some minor painting and redecoration using roller and brush applications.
To maintain adequate records on all plant and equipment.
Person Specification
Essential
- NVQ2 or equivalent in a Building Services Skill or relevant equivalent experience
- Semi-skilled
- Healthcare experience
- Knowledge of trades
- Previous experience in maintenance environment
