Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our medical team at Camborne & Redruth Community Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to make a real difference in people's lives.

About the Role:

This role involves working alongside our GPs and ACPs, assessing and managing patients presenting to our Same Day Emergency Care unit (SDEC) and those who have been admitted to Cornwall's Virtual Ward. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • History-taking, examination, requesting investigations, and creating an appropriate safe medical management plan for patients presenting to SDEC and Virtual Ward.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have current first-level professional registration as an RN Adult, a recognised teaching or mentorship qualification equivalent to level 3, and an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber Qualification & registration with NMC. Additionally, you should have a Masters in Advanced Nurse Practitioner or a verified portfolio of evidence or working towards it.
