About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Service Delivery Technician to join our team at Kingspan Insulation. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and services to our customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Service Delivery management team to develop and implement IT strategies and standards.
  • Ensure the effective management of IT tickets and documentation, including the maintenance of accurate records and reports.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams, including the development of detailed documentation and training materials.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall quality of our IT services.
  • Collaborate with other resolver teams to propose, discuss, and evaluate potential solutions to complex technical issues.
  • Perform on-site hardware and software fixes, as well as workarounds, across multiple sites.
  • Assist with other projects and activities within the Division as required.
  • Maintain the IT knowledge base through clear and accurate documentation of systems and related business procedures.
Requirements
  • ITIL Foundation certificate
  • English Language and Mathematics at GCSE (new grades) or GCSE A*-C; 'O' level A-C or CSE 1)
  • Any IT-related qualifications
  • Ability to handle difficult and demanding customer environments and pressurized workloads
  • Ability to mentor and train junior members of the team
  • Excellent numeracy skills and experience of using spreadsheets, with a good understanding of Office 365 and Exchange online
  • Understanding of VM ware, WAN and LAN environments, MPLS and VPN fundamentals, and Microsoft Active Directory
  • Detailed understanding of client hardware and operating system to effectively troubleshoot problems
  • Mobile technologies
  • Unified communications
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve results
  • Full UK Driving Licence
