We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our global workforce in Aberdeen.

Role Overview:

As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the HR department with administrative and operational tasks, ensuring compliance with HR best practices and legal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations.
  • Assist with recruitment, including preparing job postings, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain employee records in compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in managing HR databases and systems.
  • Support the onboarding and induction process for new employees.
  • Handle employee inquiries, providing accurate and timely information on HR policies and procedures.
  • Support employee relations, including handling queries, preparing documentation, and coordinating meetings.
  • Liaise with the finance team for timely processing of payroll and benefits queries.
  • Ensure compliance with HR legal regulations and best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Knowledge of HR legal requirements and best practices.
  • Proficiency in administrative duties such as documentation, data entry, and record keeping.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Competent and experienced in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Previous experience in HR support is required.
  • Associated degree (equivalent) in HR is preferable, or specialization in relevant field.
  • Experience with ISO standards is desirable.
