JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will provide direct communications support to private sector and governmental clients across the Middle East.

This role is responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery of strategic communications to clients in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia
  • Providing political, economic, and investment analysis of regional issues and trends
  • Developing and incorporating analysis into tailored communications programmes
  • Managing allocated client accounts, ensuring deadlines are met, and assigning responsibilities as needed
  • Collaborating on speech writing and op-ed development with clients and senior team members
  • Conducting narrative development and producing messaging, talking points, and factsheets
  • Delivering general PR tasks, including press releases, media engagement, stakeholder mapping, and stakeholder engagement
  • Creating high-quality presentations using tools like PowerPoint
  • Ensuring quality control of research documents and briefing notes for clients
  • Identifying key stakeholders and influencers, mapping engagement plans, and cultivating relationships
  • New business - Contributing to presentations and pitches to prospective clients

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 18+ years of experience in government and corporate communications; agency experience beneficial
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Exceptional writing and presentational skills
  • Experience producing communications materials, including press releases, talking points, media briefings, etc.
  • Participation in developing and implementing communications strategies
  • Strong organisational skills, flexibility, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent IT skills, including Word, PPT, and Excel
  • Client relationship building and management experience
  • Analytical skills and tactical judgment

BENEFITS AND SALARY

The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. MCG Talent offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and professional development opportunities.
