Digitas Health is seeking a seasoned Strategist to lead our oncology practice.

As an Associate Director, Strategy, you will serve as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical clients, guiding them in developing and executing impactful brand, commercial, and patient engagement strategies.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic counsel to client teams, challenging their business plans and activation strategies to drive measurable results.
  • Develop comprehensive commercial, brand, and marketing strategies for assigned oncology brands, encompassing communications and patient outreach initiatives.
  • Cultivate deep expertise in the oncology landscape, identifying emerging trends and opportunities for client growth.
  • Analyze complex data sets and synthesize actionable insights to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Craft compelling creative briefs that inspire innovative solutions from agency partners.
  • Define measurement strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track campaign effectiveness and optimize performance.
  • Lead cross-functional workshops, fostering collaboration and driving project execution with clear deliverables.
  • Contribute thought leadership on industry best practices and frameworks that enhance growth planning across diverse markets.
  • Collaborate effectively with regional and local teams to ensure seamless execution of client strategies.
  • Identify high-growth opportunities within the market, leveraging strategic insights to drive competitive advantage.
  • Mentor and guide junior strategists on assigned brands, fostering their professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of both consumer and healthcare professional (HCP) marketing.
  • Extensive oncology expertise, demonstrated by successful client engagements and impactful contributions to the field.
  • Experience working within matrix organizations across network agencies, supporting remote-based clients and navigating regional-to-local tiers.
  • Deep understanding of strategic planning and execution in commercial, brand, and customer experience domains.
