Azure Data Architect Opportunity

Arc IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to join our client, a fast-growing and technically advanced company, in a 6-month contract role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Data Architectures: Utilize Azure Databricks and Synapse to create robust data architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with various teams to understand data needs and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
  • Optimize Data Workflows: Ensure seamless integration with multiple data sources and optimize data workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Implement Data Governance and Security: Establish and enforce data governance and security best practices to protect sensitive information.
  • Provide Technical Leadership: Guide the development team in implementing data architectures and provide technical expertise.
  • Conduct Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize data processes to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Architect in Azure environments.
  • Technical Expertise: Expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and relevant programming languages.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Contract Details:

  • 6-Month Contract: Inside IR35.
  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: 2/3 days in office, 2/3 days remote.
