We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to join our team at Burns Sheehan. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and building high-quality data pipelines to power cutting-edge genAI products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of our data architecture, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust, scalable solutions.
- Design, build, maintain, and upgrade data pipelines and self-service tooling to provide clean, efficient results.
- Promote data governance through documentation, observability, and controls.
- Perform code reviews and promote the adoption of tools and best practices across the team.
- Strong background and expertise in real-time data engineering and cloud technologies.
- Experience with stream processing frameworks and real-time data streaming platforms.
- Great Python skills and experience with AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, and Airflow.
- Experience mentoring team members and colleagues.
- Competitive salary range of £90,000-£100,000.
