Job Title: Male Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Support Worker to join our team at Blue Ribbon Health & Wellbeing. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with Autism and/or Learning Disabilities.

About the Role:
  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with Autism and/or Learning Disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the individuals we support, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of person-centred plans, ensuring that the needs and wants of the individual are met.
  • Manage challenging behaviours in a safe and respectful manner, using de-escalation techniques and positive reinforcement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality service is delivered.
