Overview

New Care is a purpose-built care home facility located in the popular location of Cheadle village, Stockport. The home provides care to 68 residents with varying needs, including residential and nursing care. We strive to deliver the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care, meeting all CQC requirements.

We invest in the latest technology and offer a purposeful daily activity program to enhance resident experience and wellbeing. Our team members are hand-selected for their warmth and passion, receiving full induction and ongoing training from our in-house trainers and the New Care Academy.

Salary and Benefits

This part-time role comes with an hourly rate of £11.44, with shift times from 0800-1900 and alternate weekend working. The contract also includes benefits such as bank holiday and overtime enhancements, 5.6 weeks' annual leave per annum, paid DBS, uniform provided, and paid training.

Job Description

As a Hospitality Assistant at New Care's Cheadle Manor Care Centre, you will ensure residents and visitors receive an efficient food service, maintaining a clean dining area and adhering to cleaning schedules and procedures. You will support and assist visitors, inform the chef of individual resident requirements, and promote safeguarding the welfare of adults under your care.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess hospitality or catering experience, preferably in a care setting. Strong communication skills and the ability to participate in activities organized by the home are essential.
