Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Financial Operations Manager to oversee the financial operations of our client. The ideal candidate will have a professional accounting qualification and experience in managing end-to-end accounting processes.

About the Role
This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of circa £40,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting, preparing and submitting VAT returns, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to contractors and service providers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Budgeting and forecasting to support strategic financial planning
  2. Preparation and submission of VAT returns where applicable
  3. Record all financial transactions, including payments, charges, and other income
  4. Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date ledgers for each entity
  5. Monthly and quarterly reporting to stakeholders

Requirements
A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) is preferred, but our client will also consider experienced candidates who can demonstrate practical experience in a similar role.
