In this dynamic role as Contractor Payroll Team Leader, you will play a pivotal part in our Central Services team based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity to join Tenth Revolution Group, a company that values collaboration and positive teamwork. As a key player in our Business Support back office function, you will be responsible for processing multiple payrolls for our contractors working with clients.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Daily and weekly revenue reporting to Sales business teams.
  2. Acting as the first point of escalation on the team to resolve issues.
  3. Overseeing and assisting with Timesheet, Payroll, and Billing processing, ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance.
  4. Working collaboratively with team members across different offices and overseeing Service Hub to deliver exceptional customer service.
  5. Assessing and improving processes to accommodate business growth.
  6. Providing ongoing process improvement ideas and researching updated legislation and compliance requirements.
  7. Raising contract-specific sales invoices and ensuring timely receipt from clients.
  8. Raising payrolls and expense payments in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Payroll calendars.
  9. Serving as the primary point of contact for Contractor and Client queries, and handling Customer Care tasks via Service Hub, email, phone, or face-to-face interactions.
  10. Managing the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  11. Conducting escalation meetings, either internally or with external Clients via email, calls, or in-person discussions.
  12. Acting as a credible deputy in your manager's absence.
  13. Presenting team data and reviewing progress with the Manager/Director and team.
  14. Managing the team's workload and leading team meetings as required.
  15. Setting annual goals, reviewing progress with your manager, and driving process changes.
