Business Development Manager - Sales Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with existing customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through self-sourced leads and cold calling.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Present our market-leading proposition and negotiate business contracts with new customers, ensuring successful sales outcomes.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed sales targets, with a focus on signing 10-12 new customers per calendar month.

Requirements:

  • Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrate success in a sales role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
  • Relationship Building Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to objectively evaluate and influence customer needs.
  • Resilience and Adaptability: Ability to overcome objections and maintain a positive outlook in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Results-Oriented: Focus on maximizing opportunities through referrals, networking, and relationship building.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft applications and common customer success software such as Salesforce (CRM).
  • Full UK Driving Licence: Required for business travel.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £33,000 basic salary + £4,800 car allowance.
  • Uncapped Commission: Earn up to £100k+ in uncapped commission, with an average OTE of £65k.
  • Quarterly and Annual Incentives: Receive additional rewards and bonuses for meeting sales targets.
