We are seeking an experienced and dynamic midwife to join our Labour Ward team at Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital as a Band 7 Labour Ward Co-Ordinator. Job Summary

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. As a Band 7 Labour Ward Co-Ordinator, you will contribute to the delivery of the organization's objectives by improving clinical outcomes, increasing productivity, and enhancing the quality of patient care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of Labour Ward, overseeing the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective care focused on improving outcomes and experiences for parents, families, and carers. Key duties include:

  • Leading a team of midwives to deliver high-quality care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Enhancing women's experience of care and ensuring their needs are placed at the centre of care delivery
  • Contributing to the delivery of organizational objectives by improving clinical outcomes, increasing productivity, and enhancing the quality of care
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve shared goals and improve patient care
