Forensic Quality Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Quality Manager to join our team at Mountain Healthcare Ltd. As a Forensic Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing an effective quality management system that ensures the successful implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) that adheres to the requirements of ISO 15189 and the Forensic Science Regulators requirements.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including UKAS, FSR, and Forensic Service Providers.
- Report to top management on QMS status and areas for improvement.
- Be the first point of contact for all communications relating to quality.
- Inform customers, UKAS, and the Forensic Regulator of any significant non-conformances.
- Implement the QMS that meets accreditation quality standards, specifically the FSR Codes of Practice and ISO15189.
- Plan and manage audit schedules, including internal and external audits.
- Provide specialist advice and guidance on all matters appertaining to accreditation.
- Ensure the service provided is fit for purpose, consistent, and meets both external and internal requirements.
- Degree or equivalent level of qualification in a relevant subject and/or proven relevant work experience, alongside a qualification in project management/quality management.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and in written format through reports to senior management.
