easylet is a leading airline that connects people and places. As the Head of Data Management & Governance, you will play a vital role in shaping our data strategy and ensuring seamless travel experiences for millions of passengers.

 

Salary:

We offer a highly competitive salary range of £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, reflecting your experience and skills in data governance.

 

Data Governance Strategy:

You will lead the development and implementation of easylet's data governance framework, embedding best practices across data management and analytics teams. Your primary focus will be on enhancing data quality, integrity, and security while promoting discoverability and leveraging business insights.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Define and implement an organisation-wide data governance strategy, creating policies, standards, and practices that improve data findability, accessibility, and reuse.
  2. Data Management & Quality: Drive data management practices that enhance data accuracy, reliability, and security, supporting business functions in identifying critical data assets and measuring data quality.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, business domain leads, data scientists, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective data and metadata management strategies.
  4. Technology & Innovation: Explore and implement data governance tools to enhance data standardisation, quality monitoring, and the discoverability of data assets.
  5. Governance & Compliance: Establish governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.

 

Requirements:

  1. Proven Leadership: Experience in shaping and executing data governance frameworks and data management initiatives that align with business objectives.
  2. Data Governance Expertise: Deep knowledge of data governance methodologies, including data stewardship, quality management, and metadata management.
  3. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong abilities in data quality measurement and continuous improvement.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficiency with data governance tools and platforms, experience in Agile and DataOps methodologies.
