Our client, a local authority based in Surrey, is seeking a skilled Housing Standards Support Professional to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the housing standards team.

This exciting opportunity involves creating, renewing, and revoking HMO applications under The Housing Act 2004. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for managing housing complaints and HMO licensing case administration.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to handle new enquiries and direct them to the correct housing standard officer. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in housing standards and make a real difference in the community.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create, renew, and revoke HMO applications
  • Housing complaints/HMO licensing case administration
  • Manage new enquiries and direct them to the correct housing standard officer

Salary: £26,714 - £34,890 per annum (based on a 37-hour week)
